Katherine Rakus’ early sense of music and rhythm were informed by dance and movement. That inspiration, and a love of deep underground electronica and house, led her to travel widely and seek out diverse sounds that reaffirm how music transcends cultural and social divides. Music to her is a vibrancy that informs, enlivens, and defines crowd and space. With her interest in music and business, and her experience in hospitality, it is a natural fit for Katherine to serve as BELLOSOUND’s Music Curator, as her passion and vast knowledge of genres enable her to set the tone and feel for events and brands. But the role is additionally fruitful as it challenges Katherine to continue to probe and unearth the latest sounds to ensure she meets the need of BELLOSOUND’s diverse and global clientele.

“Delivering the program for Le Cap, the Michelin-starred restaurant inside of the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel. Our most challenging project to date, it was rewarding to learn the music was well received and reinforced the intended guest experience. It was a pleasure to be an integral part of enhancing the main restaurant of such a prestigious property, ranked #1 Top Resort Hotel in France 2018 by Travel + Leisure.”
