Marlon “Marl6ve” Jordan

When he started DJing as a hobby, Marlon “Marl6ve” Jordan used to borrow his friends’ turntables for parties, before training with veterans DJ Grouch and DJ Craig Brooklyn at Toronto’s famed Scratch Lab DJ Institute. Over a decade later, he’s brought his adaptable, uplifting, and soulful style to countless nightclubs, rooms, and events across Canada. Along the way, Jordan has found ways to give back to his community through organizing various charity events. Besides BELLOSOUND gigs, you can find him regularly providing Latin brunch vibes at Toronto’s MARKED Restaurant, or DJing weddings and private events.

What’s your favourite BELLOSOUND memory to date? 

“In June 2022, BELLOSOUND flew me to Nova Scotia to collaborate musically with saxophonist James Shaw, as Glass Tiger was the featured band playing at the Westin Nova Scotian that night. It was an amazing event, and basically the fact I was alongside one of Canada’s biggest bands was an amazing feeling that I won’t ever forget.”
