Martin joined the BELLOSOUND team in 2010 but has been DJing across the continent for more than 20 years. Born in New Brunswick, Martin eventually moved to the mountains, migrating to British Columbia to diversify his sound as well as find a bigger audience for his growing reputation. In addition to stops as resident DJ and music director for developing clubs around the GTA, Martin is also an accomplished Web Designer, but his love for music always wins out. “I love playing gigs that make me a little nervous,” he says. Despite finding his passion for music through Gang Starr and Run DMC, he admits once throwing away all his hip-hop tapes after discovering The Pixies, a decision he says he regrets to this day.
